01 / The presentation

From media logo to expert status

A coach can commission paid features across publications. A success-story headline, interview format and familiar logos may resemble independent journalism. An advertorial is advertising presented in article form; publication does not certify expertise. Genuine editorial interviews exist too, so inspect each original item.

02 / The sales route

Reach, authority, booking

Articles may lead to the same seminar or coaching site. Free webinars and calls can precede paid programmes and further tiers. Media presence can reduce doubt at the buying point. Check the total price, syllabus, term, access, cancellation rights and any performance promises separately from the press narrative.

03 / Media check

Five details in the original

Does it say “advertisement”, “sponsored”, “brand story” or name a commercial partner? Who is the author or client? Are independent sources and challenges included? Does identical copy appear in several publications? Does the article link directly to booking? The absence of a label alone does not prove editorial independence.

04 / Service check

What is established about the course?

Ask for a specific syllabus, instructors’ qualifications, verifiable work samples, realistic risk explanation and terms before paying. Testimonials need context and are not a typical success rate. If strategies or returns are advertised, apply separate evidence questions, including those in the Expert Advisor track-record guide.

Scope

Claims need evidence

Paid articles can be legitimate when their commercial nature is properly apparent. Legal assessment depends on the publication and jurisdiction. Neither a paid nor an editorial article validates trading returns.
