Contact & Request Check

An unexpected contact wants money, information or access? Check the request before you act.

A familiar voice is not proof of identity.

Caller IDs, senders, voices and videos can be imitated. Knowing your family or an earlier loss does not establish identity. Focus on what you are being asked to do and verify through a trusted independent channel.

Check the request

Select Yes, No or Unclear for every question. Answers remain on this page and are neither stored nor sent.

01 Am I being asked to disclose a password, PIN or security code, or enter it outside the official app I opened myself?
02 Am I asked to allow remote access, share my screen or install an unfamiliar app?
03 Am I asked to move money to a supposed safe account or a new wallet?
04 Is another payment demanded to release a balance, prize or refund?
05 Is identity supported only by caller ID, a voice, logo or personal details?
06 Is urgency, fear or secrecy used to make me act immediately?
07 Am I asked to pay, log in or confirm information through a supplied link or QR code?
08 Have I already transferred money, shared credentials or granted access?

Typical sequence: pretext → trust → pressure → action

An alleged account incident, authority notice or family emergency provides the pretext. Personal details, familiar voices and professional presentation support the story. Urgency is followed by a specific request. The objective may be money, account access or malware installation. A convincing presentation therefore cannot replace independent verification.

If you have already acted

If you paid or shared credentials, contact your bank or affected service yourself immediately and discuss blocking or recall options. After remote access, disconnect the affected device; secure accounts from another trusted device and seek competent assistance. Preserve original messages, payment records and timestamps.
